JUNIOR ARCHITECT

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture 

  • At least eight (6) years of work experience

  • Proven experience and expertise across various architectural design typologies and implementation

  • The ability to maintain client relationships and have strong creative and technical skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with exceptional verbal and written communication ability.

  • Highly organised and adaptable with proven management skills to lead projects and teams

  • Ability to take a client brief including facilitating workshops or interviews and preparation of strategic briefs

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

This position is responsible for providing full administrative and executive support to the Managing Director in carrying out a range of administrative duties to support the smooth and effective running of the practice and its business development. This position requires a high degree of responsibility, discretion, and confidentiality. Applicants should be organised, quick at finding solutions and be able to come up with new and improved ways of doing things.

Rebecca needs somebody who is sharp and on the ball. It is essential that they are quick at finding solutions to problems and have the initiative and foresight to come up with new and improved ways of doing things. This role would suit someone who has experience working in a small business environment.

  • Bachelor of Arts of Science from a reputable college or university

  • Able to demonstrate proficiency in the responsibilities of the role

ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANTS

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years in Architecture / relevant experience.

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture

  • Licensed Architect is an advantage

  • Proficient in CAD, Adobe Photoshop, 3D Modeling and rendering

  • Revit and 3DS Max is preferred

  • Knowledgeable in Revit is an advantage

  • Good oral and written communication skills and can work with a team.

  • Can handle multiple projects efficiently.

  • Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility from day one essential. Position would suit someone looking to consolidate their skills and grow into their role longer term.

  • Must have excellent design sense, initiative, determination, written and spoken English.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create architectural design solutions in response to client’s requirements

  • Formulates conceptual design schemes up to contract documentation

  • Prepare Development plans, alternative Conceptual Designs and Construction Drawings

  • Do research and data analysis

  • Perform other tasks as maybe assigned by the superior from time to time

  • Assist the Senior Architect in coordinating with clients and allied professionals

  • Attend client/coordination meetings with the Senior Architect

GRAPHIC/MULTIMEDIA ARTIST

​

We’re looking for someone with at least 1-2 years of work experience, though more experienced designers are welcome to apply as well.

 

In addition to being an intrinsically creative individual, the ability to think in a logical and detail-oriented manner is essential.

 

You will work across a range of our projects, providing clarity to our design proposals, presentations and reports with clear illustrations and diagrams. The role largely involves the preparation of schematic design drawings and other diagrams to illustrate our design concepts. You’ll assist with the creation of graphics, layout of technical reports and digital presentations. This will support our marketing efforts both printed and electronic that will be used for our website, newsletters, brochures, and the odd office collateral project like arttoys, facemask and tshirts.

Responsibilities:

  • create concept art of atmospheric environments, visualising designs at all stages of a project

  • creating sketches, drawings and paintings for key ideas and storyboarding projects

  • strong visual storytelling ensuring that images captivate the viewers imagination

  • creating concept art at various levels of detail and of finish to varying time constraints

  • demonstration of strong architectural understanding of layout, spatial proportions, perspective, scale and massing

  • environment design – Ability to create inspirational environments in an array of styles, always with close attention to composition, lighting and colour

  • guide other staff members on how to implement the brand strategy effectively and provide occasional technical support.

  

Qualifications:

  • degree in art, architecture, graphic or multimedia design, or other relevant field

  • at least a year of experience in graphic design, concept art in architecture or film industry or other related industries

  • expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

  • strong portfolio with a focus on illustrations and on graphic layout and composition, sketching + drawing of people, buildings and environments

  • a good knowledge of architecture + architectural styles would be advantageous

  • strong visualisation skills including composition, perspective and colour theory

  • knowledge of form, scale, composition, use of detail and visual storytelling

  • clear and confident communication skills

  • excellent organisational skills and time management

  • knowledge in 3d modelling for architecture & non architecture project like arttoys will be an advantage.
